About
( Bio Kevin Meffert )
Today...
buying your dream home or selling your existing home requires your real estate
agent to, not only---" keep your interests at heart"--- but, to know the latest technologies. The more computer savvy they
are.... the better. Years ago, all that was needed was a
open house, a multiple listing and a yard sign. Today, many consumers expect
more. In fact... up to 70% of all
home buyers use a mobile device when
searching for a home. Consumers often expect to see your home on all
types of social media and on a variety of devices and platforms like... Android, iOS and Windows in addition to many different device
types like--- PCs, tablets, iPads and cell phones.
The CoastalEdge team not only has decades of real estate experience, but has
some of
the highest level technical staff in the industry. We incorporate
professional level photography, social media videos and ads, and a sophisticated MLS
(Online Multiple Listing ) placement. These are just some of the latest
proven technologies our team uses to get you the very best possible results.
So does an understanding of the latest computer technologies help a devoted agent to
get potentially greater results for you? You bet it does... and that
is where a little bit about Kevin Meffert's I.T. ( Computer Information Technology ) background may be
insightful.

Kevin Meffert has one of the most extensive computer software and hardware development
backgrounds of any real estate agent anywhere in the country. The
following is a short bio of some of his computer technology accomplishments that
provide an idea of the depth of computer technology he has brought to the
CoastalEdge
team.
.Real
Estate Development
The Meffert family has been involved with real estate and real estate development
for decades and built over 400 homes in Naples alone. Kevin Meffert and
his family have spent most of their lives in the area and has seen Fort Myers, Sanibel , Cape
Coral, Estero, Bonita and Naples change dramatically...especially starting
in the 1970s.
Software
Development
Mr. Meffert developed a number of complete retail software packages that were sold
nationwide and world wide.. In addition, Mr. Meffert wrote an in-depth
advanced program (app) that allowed a user to self-repair a malfunctioning or
crashed Microsoft Windows based
computer in minutes...simply by sliding in just one disk. This Windows
( Operating System Recovery and Stabilization Software ) could greatly improve the
productivity of a personal computer, small business network or large computer
operations. With this in mind... a well known Fortune 500
communications company purchased hundreds of copies to stabilize their retail division
and improve retail productivity. Mr. Meffert stated that... " before
I could write the program I had to essentially break the built- in -Windows
security that Microsoft had placed into NTFS to prevent such access, well intended
or not. Many programmers at the time had attempted this and failed, but I eventually had success
and the rest is software history". Microsoft used a FAT (
FAT32) file data system on personal home computers and still is currently using the
NTFS secure file data system for most Windows versions including the latest
Windows version 10 and the beta Windows version 11.
Computer
Hardware Development
In
hardware... Mr. Meffert, along with an associate formerly involved in the
USA Sidewinder Missile Program. -- developed a
multi-template computer serial interface to allow a software program ( also
developed by Mr Meffert ) to perform hundreds of tasks that could not be
performed by a normal keyboard system available at the time.
